Officially IIUM Kuantan Student

Assalamualaikum people. 

Alhamdulillah, I'm officially a Pharmacy Degree Student in IIUM Kuantan since September 2015. Alhamdulillah, and thanks for all the prayers and good wishes. May Allah bless all of us. Amiiiin...

So as usual, the campus life begin with Orientation Day or here we call it 'Taaruf Week' or shortform 'TAWE'. I'm so grateful that it was just for three days and everything went well. Alhamdulillah. 

Basically, TAWE is held to introduce the degree life, the systems, the places & much more. The best things about TAWE is the cultural night, I mean the superb performances by all the freshies. We were grouped randomly, not according to our courses so we got to know new friends from other courses. And not to forget, I will never forget the moment I vowed my pharmacist oath during 'Lab Coat Ceremony', this ceremony is just for first year pharmacy students.

Sadly, Anis, Piqah & Mira no longer be my roomates along this first year but it's okay, our room still near to each other. 

My new roomate is Aishah Suhaimi alone. Supposedly, one room is for four students but the other two were transferred to another uni. So, I live with Aishah only, just both of us. At the beginning, it is quite awkward and silent but then alhamdulillah both us get along faster than I thought we would. Moreover, Aishah is my classmate during CFS time. Anyway, I would like to thanks Aishah for everything, she has been nice to me, vey nice. Thank you for always turn off my lights when I fall asleep, for lending me your keetle, for all the food we had shared together, for waking me up if I fall asleep, for teaching me almost everything, for being a good example for me. Seriously, Aishah is a reliable friend & has the characteristics that all 'mak2 mertua' want HAHAHA 

So, presenting to you my whole classmates of 92 persons. Our batch are known s RX 14. So far, we recorded the most least students of all previous batches. Of course, as usual, we have only 17 brothers and the rest are sisters HAHAHA. What to do. At first, we might be awkward for the first few months but then as time passed by, we are getting close I guess, HAHAHA.

That's it, I will tell you how this course kills you slowly. HAHAHA. I'm kidding, jangan kecam saya please! To be honest, Pharmacy Students are the most busiest students in IIUM Kuantan & people surrounding also know this. Why? Because we got the most pack schedule compared to other courses, just imagine we are having class straight from 8 am till 6 pm with only an hour and half break for lunch and Zuhr prayer. Plus, we got quizzes almost everyweek, not only for one subject hokey but can be up to 3 subjects. Menangis kau.. HAHAHA. At first, I was like quite 'quiz-culture-shock' but then I had been immune. Seriously, my brain never stop working during week days, heee tipu je! Time tidur surely my brain stops work out. However, (repeat HOWEVER 100x) no worry laaa, if you give your full attention in class and jot down everything important coming out from your lecturers' mouth in shaaa ALLAH you'll find everything is easy. Plus, if you're doing pre-reading before the class & make sure you understand everything before the lecturers move to the next chapter. Frankly, I had not fully done what I'm saying & I'm regretting it right now. SOBS SOBS. Hopefully, this upcoming new semester, I will do better, a lot better. Pray for me :)

Next, another best thing about Semester 1 is the inter-batch games(IBG). Ala-ala macam Sports Day waktu zaman sekolah dulu laaa... Best2 jugak, tapi RX14 kalah untuk keseluruhan. EH! BUKAN! Belum menang untuk kali ini, in shaa Allah, next2 year kami akan rampas takhta kemenangan plak. #SISGIGIH

Now, I would like to share my inner feeling, aceeewah! I'm touched that my 20th birthday is the most special one so far. First time, I was celebrating it with my friends in UIA. I got so many cakes as birthday presents, I got birthday card, I got free food treat from Jaman Tory restaurant and got nice wishes & prayers from people.

Another chapter as student Sem 1 14/15 (2nd year)

Semenjak pindah ke Uia Gambang, dalam dua minggu sekali aku akan balik rumah since Kemaman-Gambang hanya mengambil masa sejam setengah. Tapi ada satu minggu tu aku lama tak balik rumah sebab ada Program 'WARNA'. In short, program ni adalah untuk menonjolkan history plus culture negeri masing-masing. Walaupun ic aku -06-, tapi aku tetap semangat join negeri Terengganu since dari kecik aku dibesarkan dengan 'kepok lekor Kuala Kemaman' hihi. Alhamdulillah, semangat anak Terengganu boleh di puji sepanjang mengendalikan minggu yang tough ni.

Walaupun dekat Gambang punyalah susah nak escape atas sebab limitation of public transport tapi.... aku dan roomates berjaya jugaklah outing beberapa kali. So gambar bawah ni, atas sebab overexcited maka kami bertukar menjadi superhero kegemaran di dalam Giant Kuantan. Haiyakkkk!!! Bertukar!!!

 Aku ingat lagi, masa kat PJ dulu... Time tuu ada blood donation dan aku sangat excited untuk menderma tapi principal aku tak izinkan sebab masa tuu aku belum genap 18 tahun. So, aku redha jelah dapat tengok orang lain yang donate.

But then, here in Gambang sekali lagi ada blood donation dan aku pun dah genap 18 tahun. Alhamdulillah. Kt Gambang ni lah sejarah pertama dalam hidup aku menderma darah. Frankly, aku memang nervous uollss tengok jarum, bag darah and all those stuff tapi still Allah gives me courage, syukur sangat sebab ujian-ujian sebelum tuu lepas mcm ujian blood pressure, berat semua.

Alhamdulillah, lepas menderma tuu aku tak rasa pening langsung cuma penat tuu adalah sebab lepas habis je kelas terus pegi lari dekat tempat blood donation tuu.

Sem ni jugak banyak pengalaman baru yang aku dapat. Termasuklah join volunteer work di Kg. Kempadang, Pahang. Apa yang special adalah program ni anjuran hisbah aku iaitu Hisbah Ibnu Bajjah dan kolabrasi dengan Hisbah Ibnu Sahl. Dalam gerak kerja program ni, kami dibahagikan kepada 3 group iaitu team masjid, team kubur dan team pantai. Tapi in the end, kau boleh tengok muka team pantai dekat kubur, muka team pantai dekat masjid. Alhamdulillah program ni bagi aku sangat best laaa. Tambahan pula, student Uia sendiri ada buka booth free medical check-up untuk penduduk kampung tuu.

Malam tuu juga, hari yang sama aku ke Kempadang, aku outing ke Teluk Chempedak dengan Anis, Kak Mun plus 2 org lagi kakak senior. Terharu sebab akak sanggup ambik hantar kiteorg dah laa malam pulak tuu. So, it's my first time to be at Teluk Chempedak. Niatnya, nak pergi dengan family tapi Kak Mun dulu yang berjaya bawa aku sampai ke sini dulu. Dah laa lepas puas merayap di TC tuu, akak bawak pulak kiteorang ke Kula Cakes. Alhamdulillah, Allah saja mampu balas jasa Kak Mun.

Syukran 'alaikk for a wonderful unforgetable memory.

Masa sem lepas, aku punya kelas memang all sisters, boys not allowed laa kan. Haha, memang kami sesama kami jelah. So, sem ni lah baru kelas kami ada brothers. A little bit awkward. Yelah, sebab sebelum ni kalau ada aje mende yang lawak-lawak, aku boleh gelak-gelak sampai cramp perut and rahang pipi, boleh cakap kuat-kuat macam kawan belakang aku pekak, boleh buat suara manja-manja dengan lecturer perempuan of course laa kan tapi semenjak kehadiran brothers semua tuu terpaksa ku-stop serta merta. 

Kena laa bajed ayu habis kan. Hihi, but please ya bezakan hipocrisy and behave. Tapi kan, alhamdulillah sebab brothers kelas aku ni boleh diharap and for sure semuanya baik-baik belaka.

Tamatlah sudah ceritera sem 1 14/15. Another one sem left before pursuing our degree in shaa Allah. Moga-moga Allah permudahkan jalan kita semua. Fighting! And not forget, pray for our friend, mother-to-be Fatihah, hope you and baby sihat-sihat saje, have a safe delivery soon. Saranghae-yo.

Alhamdulillah dah selesai pun sem 3 aku di Uia which is aku punya first year as foundation student. Batch pioneer di Centre for Foundation Studies Gambang, Pahang. Eventhough, tempat ni belum siap sepenuhnya dah penuh dengan construction, aku rasa tempat ni best sebab emmmm dekat dengan nature maybe. Sejuk nyaman banyak insects. Hahahahaha :D Lagi satu apabila dah namanya pun pioneer means semua harta benda kat sini kiteorang yang rasmi dulu, kih3.

Hemmm, dua gambar dekat atas ni aku rasa kenangan paling indah kot time sem 3 ni. Sebab, aku & rakan seperjuangan yang lain terlibat dalam menjayakan trip ke Uia Kuantan ni. Alhamdulillah, Allah ease everything. Lagi satu, aku dapat tengok bangunan2 kulliyah Medicine, Pharmacy & Dentistry (for sure kulliyah Dentistry paling lawa sebab paling baru hemmm) Masa trip ni jugak pelbagai ilmu yang dikongsi oleh senior2 di Kuantan, diorang dah macam tak sabar jee nak welcome adik2 ke Uia Kuantan. In shaa Allah, doa doakanlah kami.

Outing dengan orang2 hebat.

Walaupun transportation kt Gambang ni agak susah & kos yang tinggi berbanding waktu stay dekat PJ last year aku tetap tak ketinggalan untuk outing ke bandar Kuantan. Aku ingat lagi waktu ni kami outing right after Test Bio yang ke-2 kih3 release stresss laa kengkonon kan. Alhamdulillah, dan aku juga takkan lupa masa outing dengan mereka (orang2 hebat ni) mereka tidak jemu berkongsi ilmu & nasihat ke arah kebaikan. Eventhough kami baru kenal sem ni, but macam rapat jeeeee. Alhamdulillah. 

Anis & Kak Mun

Anis ialah roomate aku dari sem 1 sampai sekarang & in shaa Allah sampai sem terakhir kami. Kak Mun pula ialah kakak senior aku yang inspired aku time Taaruf Week & disebabkan jodoh yang kuat kami dipertemukan kembali di Cfs Gambang, she's my kakak usrah. Kak Mun seriously special for me, she's just so lovely and I can see it. Tahu tak dia pernah bawakan aku & Anis chicken chop paling sedap aku penah makan & buatkan kiteorang cake khas airtangan beliau bawa dari Gombak ke Kuantan. I'm touched. Terima kasih Kak Mun. Hopefully, akak sudi bantu & bimbing Nabilah sampai bila2 maybe dan semoga ukhwah ni kekal, In shaa Allah.

Anis roomate aku, Athirah plak ex-roomate aku while Pqah plak roomate baru aku sem 3 ni. Frankly, they changed me a lot. And, aku sayang diorang lillahi'taala. In shaa Allah. Anis dengan sikap cerianya, Athirah dengan kecomelannya while Piqah dengan keprihatinannya. Alhamdulillah, aku bersyukur Allah anugerahkan diorang dekat aku. After this while, I got that friendship is all about accepting each other well. In shaa Allah.

I could say that I'm lucky to have them as my lecturer. I can feel their sincerity when teaching us, their consideration when advising us. Alhamdulillah. Only Allah could pay for all your kindness. Frankly, I'm not into Biology during my secondary school until I go for my foundation. Biology is actually an interesting subject if you could relate it with your creator. Yes... try it... Last but not least, I would like to thank all of you for your effort. Please pray for us eventhough we might not be your class student after this. Thank you so much.

And not to forget, I would like to apologise everyone for all of my misbehaviours, my words & everything. Assalamualaikum.
